Dr Baby Chakrapani
Director (i/c) Centre for Excellence in Neurodegeneration & Brain Health, Hon Director, Centre for Neuroscience, Cochin University of Science & Technology.
He was Post-Doctoral Researcher at Van Andel Research Institute, Michigan, USA (2013-2015). He also worked as a Research Fellow at Department of Pharmacology, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore during the period (2011-2013). He received Ph.D. degree in the area of Neural Stem Cell Research from Centre for Neuroscience, University of Freiburg, Germany in 2011 and the M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2004. He also worked as a Research Associate at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India during (2004-2005). His research focus includes Neuroscience, Stem Cell Research, Neurodegeneration & Neuroregenerative therapies.
Shani S Hameed
BPT, MHSc CCD, MA Psychology, Sensory Integration certified.
Director & Chief Child Development Rehabilitation Expert in Alfa Paediatric Rehabilitation & Child Development centre. 18 Years of Experience in Paediatric Rehabilitation. Shani S. Hameed is currently contributing to a significant research initiative titled ‘Empowering Mothers of Autistic Children: Promoting Mental, Physical, and Economic Well-being for Inclusive Social Development,’ approved by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). ALFA Paediatric Rehabilitation & Child Development Centre provides dedicated support to children with developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Her journey has been marked by a deep commitment to unlocking each child’s potential through personalized interventions.
Ashfaque K P
Ashfaque has over 25 years of Software industry experience. Currently he is the CEO of Bluecast Technologies (P) Ltd. The Company delivers turnkey/service projects to its customers in UAE, Singapore, USA and UK.
He also helps Multinational Companies Build and Operate Successful Offshore Software Development Centers in India using the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. Currently helping a German based automotive company establish a centre in Kochi, India.
Prior to this, Ashfaque worked in Asia’s largest IT company, TCS (Tata Consultancy services) for over a decade and a half in various management roles ranging from delivery to sales.

He held many key techno-managerial roles in organizations such Valuefoc, Wipro, NeST, and Datec and handled business from geographies like UK, US, Japan, Germany, Finland and Middle East.
Elizabeth Philip

Project Coordinator, Raksha Society for the care of children with special needsElizabeth Philip is a distinguished professional with over 28 years of experience dedicated to empowering children with disabilities through specialized education. Driven by a profound commitment to teaching and a passion for supporting differently-abled children, Elizabeth has transformed countless young lives, providing them with the skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive. Her extensive expertise in special education and psychology has made her a leader in inclusive education and a staunch advocate for children with diverse needs.
After completing her B.Ed. in Special Education, Elizabeth began her career as a special educator, applying her psychological training to understand and cater to the unique needs of each child. Her journey took on new meaning when she joined Raksha Special School in Kochi, where an internship experience fundamentally changed her perspective.
As the current Principal of Raksha Special School, Elizabeth continues to champion inclusive education and individualized learning. She leads her team in developing adaptive teaching methods and support systems that foster the holistic growth of children with disabilities. Elizabeth’s insights, both academic and experiential, have shaped her unique approach to education, making her an influential figure in the field of special education.

MBBS, DCH, MHSc Clinical Child Development. 35 Years of Experience in Paediatric Rehabilitation.
Dr Sajida Abdulla
DNB (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics) MBBS Dr. Sajida Abdulla is driven by a deep aspiration to apply the science of neurodevelopment to address the diverse needs of children, particularly those with neurodevelopmental and language impairments, and provide effective therapeutic management to populations in need. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at GMC Ernakulam, where she also acts as a member of the Disability Board, enabling her to contribute to autism research and adolescent care.

Certified Master Trainer in Early Screening of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specialized training in neurodevelopmental disabilities, National training on Global Developmental Delay
Research Contributions:
Dr. Sajitha has authored research published in esteemed journals. She is currently investigating the effects of early screen exposure on speech delay and digital detox programs on children with electronic screen syndrome.
